"For the past decade, I’ve been pursuing my career as a producer/mixing engineer and have been lucky enough to have worked alongside some of the world’s most influential names in the business.

My life in the professional studio environment began in 2014 when I started assisting world renowned mixer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. This initially entailed making lots of tea and coffee, making sure clients were comfortable and keeping the studio looking great, however, this gave me a huge insight into how the industry works on a first class level. In the summer of 2015, Spike invited me to assist him at the prestigious EastWest Studios in Los Angeles. I spent the remainder of the year working 1 to 1 with Spike on records for incredible artists including: Bastille, The Temper Trap, Shura and DMA’s, to name a few. I would spend my downtime at the studio learning how to engineer from the many talented people who worked at EastWest day in day out, this was an incredible experience for me and one that I’ll always fondly remember.

After returning home to the UK, I managed to secure some work at The Church Studios in London, home to producer Paul Epworth. Here I got to spend a lot of time learning about tracking and production. For my time here the record that I primarily experienced come to life was ‘How to be a Human Being’ from Glass Animals.

In 2017 I started working alongside mixer Geoff Swan. This was a really hands-on role and one in which I learnt the most from. I spent 5 great years with Geoff and in my time with him I worked on some of my favourite records, the most notable being ‘Shiver’ by Jónsi, ‘Pang’ by Caroline Polacheck, ‘Woman on the Internet’ by Orla Gartland and ‘CRASH’ by Charli XCX which became a #1 Album in the UK Charts in 2022.

I’m now pursuing my career as a mixing engineer and producer in my own right, applying the knowledge I’ve gained from my years of assisting and implementing my own tastes and values. As a lover of all genres of music, I strike to not have an aural stamp but instead, focus on achieving the best version of an artist’s sound, making the vision of their records come to life.”
